MIXED METHODS RESEARCH
Mixed methods research attempts to bridge different philosophical positions and methodological perspectives from a pragmatic viewpoint draw on employing what works in the field of research, giving primacy to the importance of the research problem. It offers an opportunity to transform the tensions between or among perspectives into new knowledge through dialectical discovery.
